Our Code of Conduct serves the interests of our employees, customers and other stakeholders by promoting an organisational culture committed to integrity, ethical conduct and compliance with the law.

Majid Al Futtaim works within a complex network of suppliers, customers and partners across its operating companies. As part of our ongoing initiative to monitor those involved in our day-to-day operations, we have adopted our Supplier Code of Conduct.

The Supplier Code of Conduct is an extension of the Majid Al Futtaim Code of Conduct. It lists our standards and behaviours and general principles, which need to be adhered by all suppliers and service providers.

At Majid Al Futtaim we continually challenge ourselves to exceed world-class standards and think holistically about the impact our business has on the environment and the communities in which we operate.

At Majid Al Futtaim, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We believe it’s our duty to Dare Today, Change Tomorrow. This is what drives the direction and decisions we make.

Our Company-wide goals and initiatives have been developed to help meet our Sustainable Business Commitments and sustainability annual targets. These are aligned to our strategic focus areas which include:

  • Rethinking Resources to make a Net Positive Impact, and
  • Empowering our People to unlock the full potential our both our direct employees and those employed by our contractors.

We continually strive to become one of the most sustainable companies in the world. Our long-term target is to produce more energy and water than we consume, reaching a Net Positive business model by 2040. It’s ambitious, but we are confident we will be the first in the region to get there.

Sustainability strategy Dare Today, Change Tomorrow contributes to the achievements of 10 UN Sustainable Development goals.

First company in MENA region to adopt a group level net positive strategy and one of the first companies in the world to sign up to the World Green Building Council Net Zero Building Commitment.

Continuously investing in our people through embedding sustainability training at all levels, wellness year-round campaigns and Employment Conditions Policies.

First in the region to achieve LEED and BREEAM certification across our properties portfolio and minimum LEED GOLD requirement for all new developments.
