The developer Majid Al Futtaim has decided to go above and beyond: an entire island with exclusive mansions within the residential project Lanai Islands will emerge in Tilal Al Ghaf, a district of Dubai, on the shore of a man-made lagoon.
Properties in the Edge category will be located on land plots of 2,370-2,500 sq m, while their floor space will exceed 2,800 sq m. The second category of homes with the floor area of 2,200 sq m is called Shore. The area of their grounds will reach an average of 2,200-2,400 sq m, including a 90-km coastline. All mansions will be facing the lagoon waters, while the private island will be connected to the mainland with a beautiful pedestrian bridge. Only tenants and owners will be able to access it.
An additional advantage for fans of contemporary design is the fact that SAOTA, a South African bureau, is in charge of the architecture, while Kelly Hoppen will take care of the interior design.
The construction is due for completion in the second quarter of 2026.
