Gulf News: Despite the sudden rise in prices, Dubai is a buyer's market

Demand will remain strong in the Dubai housing market, and prices may rise more rapidly than in 2021.

New real estate in the market will not change this situation. However, this supply will only strengthen the position of buyers when concluding contracts.

Gulf News refers to the forecast published by Reuters, which interviewed 12 market analysts from February 9 to February 23 this year. In general, all specialists expect strong market growth during 2022.

The projected growth rates were higher than the experts’ forecasts three months earlier. In November, house prices will grow by 5% in 2022 and 2023. The new forecast indicates that prices will rise by 7.5% this year and 5.5% next year.

Analysts are also confident that buyers will dominate the Dubai housing market for the next two years. On the one hand, the market has various premium real estate and, on the other hand, remains accessible to a wide range of buyers.
